Waffles Making with my nieces :)

Another dough making session with my nieces and this time we made Belgian Waffles! Surprisingly, Janice can stand right in front of the waffles maker patiently waiting for the dough to get cooked! After a few dough cooking... her attention fall on somewhere else! Haha! Then it was Jeanne's turn to continue the waffles cooking ;p Not only that, Chef Patrina even prepared sumptous Japanese dinner for all of us and we'd waffles with fruits and ice cream! What a school holiday for my nieces! For me, I was dead tired as my Sunday break had spent on our nieces but think again we had great fun together! :D

Freshly Bread Making on Advance Father's Day!

Another june school holiday is here, and I finally find times with my nieces and this time we make and bake creative breads! We were so lucky that the dough rised double its size which allowed us to create many breads! Mother and daughter's time together - Mama Patrina and Janice had a good time moulding the dough together! Though Jeanne was late but she managed to make some mould last minute before I popped all the dough in the hot oven ;) While all the bread were baking in the hot oven, Janice was enjoying her music and making some craft.

Wow, we have caterpillars, butterflies, snails, bears, mice, pigs and many cutie breads! They taste so fresh and yummy! Everybody loves them!

Not forgetting to celebrate Father's Day for Gong Gong ;) Patrina was cooking fish'n'chips in the kitchen while I'm preparing japanese coleslaw at the dining table and my nieces were giving me helping hands too :) We'd a simple and wonderful meal together after the bakery session :D Well, shall we have another bakery session ;p Cheers!

A Warm & Hearty Christmas Evening

I was rushing ups and downs hunting for mushrooms to cook cream of mushroom soups for 15 people today! Yea, I was late again to reach the Tan's place :s Joeel was already there, carrying all the xmas presents! And they're all under the xmas tree ;) I was busy cooking the soup while Alan is the only great helper for Chef Patrina ;p And they've made an awesome couple in the kitchen! When everyone arrived, the table was spread with beautiful food for the Christmas night! Along the way, my soup was just in time to serve everybody too ;p "Mummy, next time don't cook this soup, not nice!" 5yo Janice commented. I replied her, " This is cooked by Jiumu you know"... She said " Not nice leh..." I was like this :s After all, I saw the pot of soup was left 2 bowls quantities, I was like phew... I think Kids don't like western soup... Haha, maybe... but I know everybody likes everything on the table and we're very lucky to dine and wine on the Christmas Night!

Janice's little cousin Cheryl stole the limelight on the Christmas night! She is so so cute and she looks just like the little Laura from a cartoon character! She's gentle and careful, but Janice play with her for a while and ran away to play something else :s

When I was relaxing on the sofa watching Little Nuoya, Janice jumped onto me and claimed, "Jiumu! I want you to have baby!!!" I was alarmed by her, "Who taught you how to say that???" I asked, then she replied "Nobody teach me, I said myself one, I wan you to have baby!!!" I grabbed Jeanne who was sitting in front of me and question her and she was clueless... Hmmm, I think this little Janice wanted to have a baby sibling or baby cousin to play with her...

Finally, we had our Christmas gifts exchange and eating yummy rum and raisins ice cream logcake! What a warm and hearty Christmas evening ;) Thanks for the Tan's Family for being a good host and company! Cheers!

A Blessing New Year Eve Dinner :)

My Sister in law is a good cook especially her Japanese style cooking is SUPERB! Every time she wana cook jap food, my hands are clapping and my face is smiling cos I get to hands on too ;p Her food that she created is always so colourful which make my mosaic pictures so so vibrant ;) Thanks to my hubby Joe's nice foto too! Well, we were standing the whole day preparing and cooking, while the kids were playing, oh yea Mum in law was helping up too ;) There were compliments from everyone when they put the food in their mouth ;p It was a wonderful and blessing dinner :) Thanks Patrina :D The blessing dinner boost us for the brand new year 2008! Cheers to our brand new year!!!
