Joeel and I were having a great horror fun at Clarke Quay Atrium on last Sat night! We were there to do our creative face paint work at the Bacardi Halloween Event! The crowd was CRAZY! Everywhere was queuing with people at the clubs/pubs and vehicles at the carpark/traffic, jammed packed even in the middle of the night! We didn't know Singapore celebrated Halloween and had became one of the MUST HAVE Festival/events for everybody! We saw people in different horror costumes and masks and even makeup! Not only that some even dress up in their cos play costumes! which made this Halloween so INTERESTING!

Stamp02: Bad day to start painting

It was a bad day for us...

It rained the whole day and we couldn't even start our work on the spot... we were waiting for our IC Ella to bring the giant umbrella to shelter the wet postbox... Waited for 2 hours...Ella arrived with umbrella which didn't work at all, ... it was still raining though... Happily, we started to lay all the things under our own small umbrellas, clean and dry the postbox under the giant umbrella, there, we painted the base colour first. Happiness turned to Sadness, even we have the umbrella, the rain "spill and splash" washed the paint away accompanied with the strong wind blowing :s Standing aimlessly and hopelessly under the giant umbrella, the paint was still wet under the wet wet wet weather...

Eventually, the event photographer and videographers came and witnessed the weather...

Hopelessly, we made a final decision and decided to stop painting and come back on the next day!

Let us hope for a better day to start our postbox painting ;)

Singapore 3rd International Kite Day @ Punggol 2010

It's another kite festival here in Singapore held at Punggol Field Walk. This year, Joeel and I did a last minutes kite painting of the tiger specially for this occasion. Not to mention that the event T-shirt was designed by Joeel! And everybody loves his work! The day was very hot but we had great fun with the kite masters from all over the world. Not forgetting to call our friends again! Only Kweks can make it last minute to join us and witness the night kite flying with beautiful lights in the dark sky! It was a terrific day for us!

Keep The Dream Alive Prize Presentation 11th July 2009

Click the title to view my winning students!It was a very meaningful day to me, though, I did not summit my entry and won any awards for this art competition but the results from my students had won me many many awards! Joeel and Janice won Merit Awards for their categories for the YOLO Keep The Dream Alive Art Competition, too. It was an art competition that allow Artists to express their dreams onto the templates that part of the donation is going to the BT Budding Artists Fund. It was an event that all the families gathered together to celebrate the good hearts and most of all - Art.
