Finally, we have time together and made this just for Baby Avery!

Baby Avery's 1st full month is coming around the corner this Saturday.
This is going to be her 1st month present from 姑姑 and 姑丈!

The making: We mixed and match the decoration, some pinks and different shades of greens to blend with the overall look of the scrapbook. Very well planned and smoothly done made this scrapbook a fun one to make!

Baby Avery is Daddy and Mummy's beautiful princess :)

Mum & Dad Adore Teos

This time for the Teos, we would like to make it more vintage cum cottage feel... plus, Chunying's favourite colour is BLUE :) I was hunting up and down for the lace, and I decided to make a trip to AMK handycraft shop and buy right after my violin lesson, so cool, it's still there for so many years since our childhood time! Happily picked the choice of the lace though I was taking quite sometimes to choose ;p Hey, think again I don't have to make a trip down to PS ;p

The Making: Joeel cleverly folded the paper into half, draw a half frame and cut it. There you have a stencil frame when you open the trimmed paper. Place the self made stencil frame onto the hard white cardboard and traced. You have the shape of the frame, then cut it out :D Warning: Cutting need skills...especially when you cut an hard object ;) How? Do not force the blade onto the surface, slice it many times to cut it out... all you need is very sharp blade... Joe and I took turns to cut this very hard cardboard! (*Children, do not do the cutting yourselves, get adult to help!)

Gosh, the overall look is sweet and lovely! I personally like the work too! ;p

This is an advance Valentine's Day present for the Lee couple ;) I remembered it was a day when everyone witnessed Dennis's marriage proposal to our lovely Eunice! So, we decided to make this ScrapArt for to remember this very day of theirs :p

The Making: Joeel and I were like "No no, I say first..." No no no, I said frist dear..." In the end Joeel let me said my idea first... he was like, "Hey dear, it's the same idea that I wana do too!" Haha, sweet rite, we have coincidental ideas at the same time, sometimes! ;p

We were like fighting to do this one cos we'd already chose the paper and know what to do and layout the picture! The paper is filled with flowers with different designs and it gave us an idea that the portraits are in the flora garden! We cut out some of the flowers to make it popped out so it doesn't look bored with everything flat ;)

The funny part: We were laughing out loud when we placed the "diamond" on Dennis's ear! We all know he's "Mr. Vain" hehehe...

Love is for Valentines, and Lee represent both of them ;)

The Kwek Family Joy

It was a last minute shopping for our friends' Christmas presents that we thought we would have time to do ScrapArt for all of them but we were wrong... we were too busy and hardly touched them :s What would we do??? We decided to make the Kwek Family ScrapArt first because they are the Host for this Christmas at their new home :)

The Making: We finally got to do the ScrapArt on the day before the xmas eve nite :s It was pretty rush and we just took whatever Christmas theme scrap materials we bought, and decided to use the traditional Red colour for the theme. Gosh, too many materials to mix and match cos Joe want this and I want that... Christmas tree, presents, socks are all chosen in the creation and works pretty well with the paper designs and texts! The design looks simply Christmas to us ;p Not bad at all! Except we had a sleepless night :s

Merry Christmas Kweks! And this is one of our Christmas creation specially made by Esther and Joeel :)

Another ScrapArt for our friends! This time, The Tey's Family! Knowing they're both busy parents who only have QUALITY times with their Little Gabby that inspired us to build this just for THEM!

The Making: We took quite a few trips to mix and match the materials at the Paper Market. Quite disappointed with the shop that they don't carry the things that we want like Bird Cage, Gothic Sun... something which link to the theme/style that I want... Hmm... nevertheless, we managed to style the feel of Calvin's fav black and Min's fav red! Luckily, everything goes smoothly working on this scrap-making ;) Except! The sticker fonts dropped cos they're not sticky enough! I have to use UHU glue to glue them back, but it was too "webby"... change to wood glue instead though took a long time to dry but it was strong enough to make them stay in place! A slow and steady process, though ;)

I hope the Teys will love it! (Think it's nice to display in your dining area! So you have more appetite during meal time when you look at this happy scarp foto!) Cheers!

The Fongers Smile

I always get FANCY on all the pretty papers and decorative stickers, fonts, borders....etc... and I would spend a whole day at the scrapbook shops mix and match the paper materials ;p Yesterday was one instance that I went to the Paper Market which was newly open also from "sister" shop of another scrapbook shop at the Wheelock's place. After browsing around, I headed to another shop called Made with Love @ Plaza Sing where I spent about $70plus there :o Turning back to Paper Market again, I even bought the limited addition items which I couldn't find at the PS ;p My nice hubby Joeel who accompanied me for the whole day which he did his own shopping as well but got nothing he wanted in the end...

After purchasing the papers that I fancied...what should I do about them? Hmm... make a photo scrape for the Fongers! Why? Because they're gg to Australia and stay there for a few years! Why not make a gift for them! This morning, I mixed and match the materials that I'm gg to use... eventually Joeel joined the fun! He becomes my great helper and fantastic "3rd eyes"! He even helped me print out the foto that I chose from Edna's album that she shared with us! There, we trimmed, torn, glued, decorated and framed em! Bingo! Nice rite! Not bad for the first timers!

*REDO - We were almost finished with the last butterfly that my "3rd eyes" told me that I should add another one... the butterfly "flew" onto Tyler's face and got stuck!!!!!!!! I was freaky panic and peeled it out with care BUT there was a mark on his face!!!!!!! So mad!!! (Pulling my hair out) and even blamed Joeel! ;p Have to redo everything once again, we reprint the foto, re-paste and re-decorated everything all over again! :s

Anyway, hope you like it Fongers! It's an advance Xmas present from me and Joeel! Cheers!
